4th Street Software Code Signing Certificate Update

You've all seen it...the warning from Windows about software coming from an "unknown publisher." There's no promise of the "blue screen of death" coming to your computer...it's just a little hint that maybe, just maybe, this EXE file isn't all it's cracked up to be!

This screen is typically seen when the publisher's "Code Signing Certificate" either (a) doesn't exist, or (b) it's expired for this particular EXE file. No matter how trustworthy the source, the message will pop up if the certificate is invalid for some reason.

The Code Signing Certificate issued to 4th Street Software expired on 2/22/2026, but has been renewed for the next 3 years. If you run one of our programs and haven't updated before your program was re-signed, you'll see a message like the one above.

First of all, don't panic...nothing new has happened to your software. It didn't suddenly become malicious and it won't hold your files ransom. It just needs an update!

And that's why, as of today, all of the software offerings at 4th Street are or are being updated! We're already done with all of the games, and are finishing up the last of the season setup files (should be done by this evening, 2/22/2026).

The updates run the same as always...click the link, watch it download, and run it to replace the previous version of the program.
